OTHER COURSES 2019 -2020:

Wednesdays, Harrogate 3:45 - 5:15pm

If you want a jolly good time, come and learn to play the world's most cheerful and beginner-friendly musical instrument - you can't be sad with a ukulele in your hand. No past experience is required - complete beginenrs will be strumming along to popular songs from the "Ukulele Juke-box" on day one.

It's at Rossett School, Green Lane, Harrogate HG2 9JP

Wednesdays, Harrogate 5:30 - 7:00pm

This course is for you if you already play and are perhaps happily strumming your way through every ukulele song book on the internet, alone or in a uke group, but want to build on your existing skuills to add more musical interest and varety to your sound. We'll be looking at techniques such as damping, muting, finger-picking golpe; at rhythms; at some super strumming tricks; and at alternative chord voicings, moveable chord shapes and more. It's all backed up by a bit of gentle music theory, for those who want it - feel free to ignnore it if you don't, but it's totally painless!

It's at Rossett School, Green Lane, Harrogate HG2 9JP

It's anticipated that further Ukulele modules will run later in the school year - watch this space for info about Alison's courses:
