We welcomed Stray FM's Beth Parsons to our drumming class at Rosset recently. If you missed the resulting radio broadcast, you can listen to the podcast on Audiboom here:
Our performing group, Belebele, wowed the crowds at the Otley Carnival, where we performed the World Premier of Anyone For Chips - a soon-to-be "traditional" West Yorksire rhythm created by our own Colin Davidson. And we came away with second prize for the best-decorated float!
Alison's new African choral group, Mbube, provided the in-house entertainment at Harrogate Theatre's biennial Big-T event this month. We'll be incorporating some beautiful African songs into our drumming gigs with Belebele from now on!
A new school year! In addition to the ever-popular African drumming workshops, Drums Agogo can now also provide workshops with Boomwhackers or ukuleles. Ask for details!
Drumming evening classes are up and running again at Harogate and at Otley, after the summer break. Come and join one of these friendly groups, if you fancy trying something new this year.
Catch Belebele at Harrogate Theatre on the 21st in SHINE, a fabulous variety show in aid of the charity of the same name, which supports people with Spina Bifida. Our second time at the Theatre, and we've been promoted to Dressing Room 1 - enough space to stand upright in with a hat on! England footballer Danny Mills comperes.
Alison is under contract to provide general music services at one particular primary school this term, but is still available two days a week (as well as weekends and school holidays) to other customers - please just ask.
Get in touch using this form, whether you want our well-established African drumming workshops, or are perhaps looking to try out a new fun experience with boomwhackers, ukulele or recorder, want a junk percussion jam circle or fancy learning to dance the New Zealand Haka.
The Rossett Evening Class has now reverted to WEDNESDAYS, and the class has a friendly new format that caters for drummers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Come and join us!

We didn't win the Big T, but what a night! A good time was had by all. Well done to the very young and very talented Alexa Wilkinson, the overall winner!

Alison and friends went busking and raised £87 for the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) to help relief efforts in the wake of the Philippines typhoon. Thanks to all who played and all who donated!
